Chairman of Aliu Mahama Memorial Lecture Publicity Committee issues statement to dissociate himself and the committee from the lecture delivered by Dr. Bawumia at the Conference Centre yesterday. The statement cited a complete deviation from the topic which centred on Youth discipline and development in honour of the late Aliu Mahama who stood for these values in his lifetime. Alhaji Haruna Atta, Chairman of the Publicity Committee said he walked out of the lecture upon the disrespect Dr. BAWUMIA showed to the late Aliu Mahama and the President of Ghana who was represented by Dr. Clement Apaak, a Presidential Staffer. Alhaji Haruna apologised for the deviation from the topic and the politicisation of the day by the Guest Speaker who took advantage of the day to dabble in undue partisan politics to the complete shock of the committee. He apologised to the people of Ghana for the disappointment and betrayal the Foundation suffered yesterday due to the misbehaviour of Dr. Bawumia on the day.
