Chakra Sangria! What a perfect way to celebrate my friend and energy healer Aimees birthday! Layer cut fruit in a tall glass (ROY G BIV) with room to spare for crushed ice, chilled wine and blood orange soda (Trader Joes) - you could also use their pomegranate soda, or their grapefruit soda for different flavor profiles. I used cherries, strawberries, mango, peach, green apple, halved green grapes, and blueberries. Chill glass with layered fruit in freezer until guests arrive. Add a layer of crushed ice, then top with wine up to the level of the fruit and add blood orange soda and a leaf of mint to garnish. Beautiful, tasty and fun! Straws and tall spoons recommended! For re-fills, just top off with more wine and soda, and add crushed ice.
