Challenging install of Concrete Tops When Eric Schaeffer of Majestic Concrete Design landed a sizable multi story commercial rehab project he new installation would be a challenge to say the least. Eric’s solution was to have the contractor leave the windows out so he could crane the pieces up on a platform then wheel them through the opening. He let the plywood hang over the edge of the metal platform so he could screw it to the subfloor inside the building, preventing the platform from moving during offload. He’s got a 4 x 10 island (cast today) plus a bunch more vanities and work stations. The pieces are coming out great.
