Chamber After Hours: Join Us Tonight at the Eiteljorg! Wed. March 5, 2014 Spring is just around the corner (if we say it enough it will happen!), so its time to get back in the proverbial After Hours saddle TONIGHT at 5:30 p.m. And what better place to get back in the saddle than the Eiteljorg Museum? Join us for the event featuring special free access to the exhibition, Blake Little: Photographs from the Gay Rodeo. Although the rest of the museum will be closed, this cant-miss exhibit features black-and-white images of cowboys and cowgirls from the gay rodeo circuit, taken by award-winning, Los Angeles-based photographer, Blake Little. The Seattle native became captivated by the gay rodeo scene in 1988 and began documenting the lives of its contenders, victors and their devoted fans. To start, well gather within the Lilly Theatre, on the immediate left as you enter the museum. At 6:00, there will be cheese, crackers and a cash bar in the hallway. At 6:30, Agave welcomes us to come upstairs for the Blake Little tour led by one of the museums curators. Again, there will be NO CHARGE! Park in the White River State Park garage located off of Washington Street in front of both the Eiteljorg and the State Museum. Upon entering our museum, you will be given parking vouchers.
