WHAT ELSE? • It’s common for the state to pay tuition aid to School Choice districts for students who commit to a Choice school but fail to enroll, according to a state Department of Education spokesman. State officials dont know how many School Choice no-shows it has provided tuition aid for since 2010-11, but the number could be significant.
