Chamber News Feed: Morris County, NJ: A 25 year old man was arrested on drug distribution, manufacturing and possession charges after a several-weeks long investigation, according to police. Vincent Batyr of Parsippany was arrested by Detective Anthony Morelli after an investigation into the distribution of controlled dangerous substances within the township, police said. A search warrant was issued, and Batyr was arrested March 7 at his home, police said. Batyr was charged with two counts of manufacturing, distributing or dispensing a controlled dangerous substance; two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Four digital scales, two pounds of marijuana, 16 grams of MDMA, one glass water bong, one bottle of nitroglycerine, six codeine/Tylenol pills, two grinders, folds usually used in packaging a controlled dangerous substance for sale, one gas mask, two cell phones, a flash drive, iPad and $1,216 in cash were confiscated from Batyrs home and placed into evidence, police said. He was transported to Parsippany Police headquarters, where he was processed and turned over to the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail, police said.
