Chamber News Feed: Online small business insurance provider AssureStart announced Tuesday that it is now operating in New Jersey. AssureStart sells business property and general liability insurance via the Internet to businesses with fewer than 30 employees, it said in a news release. The policies are underwritten by Midvale Indemnity Company, an affiliate of American Family Mutual Insurance Company. New Jersey’s small businesses now can use AssureStart’s website to get quotes, purchase policies and download certificates of insurance, the company said. “As the only insurer exclusively focused on small businesses, our mission is to help small business owners meet their unique insurance needs through an industry-leading technology platform,” AssureStart CEO Greg Tacchetti said in the release. “A growing number of small businesses handle their administrative tasks on the Internet.
