Chamber News Feed: Somerset County, NJ: (WARREN, NJ) A BMW, rifle and ammunition were among the items stolen in a string of burglaries reported Tuesday, police said. At around noon, a resident from Kathy Lane called police and reported his 2000 BMW was stolen from his driveway sometime between Sunday and Tuesday, police said. The resident also reported a rifle and ammunition were taken from two unlocked vehicles, police said. Later that day, at 5:45 p.m., a Hillcrest Road resident reported various tools, a phone and a GPS were stolen from three unlocked vehicles overnight, police said. The approximate value of the items stolen is $600, according to police. Police are investigating whether or not the two incidents are connected, Lt. Paul Dziedzic said.
