Chamomile is Highly Toxic to Breast Cancer Cells: The essential oil of chamomile was shown to kill up to 86% of breast cancer cells in this study by triggering programmed cell death. Chamomile tea has been used for centuries in traditional and Ayurvedic medicine for anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain relief, as an anti-inflammatory and even as natural anti-fungal (it kills yeast such as Candida). But now researchers are discovering that chamomile may also help fight several cancers including prostate cancer, lung cancer, leukemia and others.
