During the 2 hr journey, sit back and relax in the glass domed upper viewing deck enjoying the scenery, ocean views, and free flowing chilled champagne, mimosas and soft drinks along with a selection of brunch fare. On arrival in San Diego you are at leisure for 4 hrs where you may: Take a harbor cruise over to Coronado Island for lunch. All alumni, students, faculty/staff, spouses, and friends are welcome friends are invited. This is has been a popular and fun filled event in each of the last 12 years. During the 2 hr journey to San Diego, some alumni practice their expert skills at power networking while others chose to relax in the glass domed carriage enjoying the scenery with unlimited champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks, snacks, & other brunch fare. On arrival in San Diego, groups go on outings to Coronado, Hillcrest or Balboa Park. And some people chose to be at leisure during the San Diego layover or to go shopping and exploring in San Diego. During the evening return to Los Angeles, there will be time on board The Silver Lariat for more power networking and relaxing with night views of Southern California beaches and cityscapes. The Silver Lariat is owned by UCLA Anderson Alumnus, Burt Hermey and his partner, Al Bishop.
