Chance... Day 3: After his breakfast walk to Dunkin Doughnuts, I - TopicsExpress

Chance... Day 3: After his breakfast walk to Dunkin Doughnuts, I took him back to Petco... my 2nd most frequent stop so far... to get fitted for his high impact seat-belt harness and a seat cover to protect my other baby. I swear Ive house broken him fresh out of the box... the California shelter box that is... and there have been no accidents in the house. I do take him for lots and lots of walks, however... but he has given me that look and he gets to go out immediately. He sleeps all night without a problem too!! It usually takes me two weeks to housebreak but immediately!? I got a good one!! After he got his new riding gear we went through the car wash... new nasty noises and stuff, but he didnt complain. Didnt like the vacuum at first but I put it on his back and he changed his mind. Just trying to introduce him to everything and everything is new to him. Hes smart and sucks it all in. This afternoon I put the top down and introduced him to those pleasures. He will need goggles and a WW I leather pilots helmet before were done. He is my co-pilot, after-all. The first day or two I had to load him in the car because his previous experiences with cars werent too pleasing for him. Today he jumps in all by himself. The trust is building with him and hes learning that a car ride now leads to going home afterwards... not the shelter or the airport. I love this little guy!
