Chance of showers today in the wake of our exiting storm, which is now seen sweeping southern California in the current satellite image below. Cold air has has filtered in behind the system dropping snow levels down to 3500 where we had a dusting this morning in the upper foothills. Snow is winding down in the Sierra, but snow showers are possible through the day. Total rainfall came in on the low end with 4.95 inches in Nevada City. Looking ahead, we still have some unsettled weather coming our way. After a break tomorrow, a weak system will move onshore late on Sunday bringing a chance of light rain. Another system arrives late Monday. These systems will be much, much smaller than our last storm, but will have cold air, with snow levels down to 3500-4000.
