Chanel : Hey There! Im Chanel, the newbie here at the bull, and wanted to take a second to say THANK YOU!! This last week has been truly amazing. Before Landen took off for the night he said he was off to play Shinny with his buddies! I made a comment about how I loved shinny, and running around the rink in my boots, and was met with a completely blank stare! He says thats definitely not shinny... Landen says shinny is a more relaxed hockey, like a pick up game! Maybe 3 on 3 , or no goalie, but DEFINITELY skates. When I was growing up, Shinny was basically just hockey without skates... You can hit the rink with your stick & boots and youre good to go! The whole point was to leave the skates at home and not have to carry them. Now Im worried I might have been a terrible skater and was lied to for years by my parents! What do you think?
