Change is painfull but not always negative. I have struggled for a very long time to sensitive people from Busoga that Obwa Kyabazinga is merely a colonial residue based on principles of divide and rule and political intolerance without attracting their attention. Now that innocent people are being rapidly jailed at Kirinya for not supporting the political take over of Busoga by politicians hiding behind a young man, himself being a colonial residue because the Cultural Leader of Bugabula Naika was jailed and overthrown to make way for his great grandfather who had attended Western Education to become Chief of Busoga. What is funny is that every one by now knows the difference between Obwa Kyabazinga (Previuosly President of Busoga O.B.E [Order of the British Empire]) and Obwa Mukama bwa Busoga (Our Cultural Heritage) and yet we continue to fight for the white mans system of kill and take over. Other than E.T.Waako the first president now Kyabazinga, has any Kyabazinga ever died of natural causes? Your food for thought.
