Change your perspective on your fat loss goals. First, realize that excess body fat is just one indication of subpar health and change your goals to pursue health instead of a number on the scale. Fat loss, among a lot of other awesome things, will happen by accident as you get really healthy, and this time you wont gain it back. Second, try to view your journey as an ongoing scientific experiment. This perspective shift will mean there is no such thing as failure, only more opportunities to learn. But it will also mean you will have to stop pursuing tricks and gimmicks in favor of actually educating yourself. Stop believing things people tell you and do some research. When someone like me gives you advice, go check our facts. (Doing your own research means looking at the peer reviewed scientific studies, not someone elses opinions in their blog post.) Then, when you get stuck, change one thing at a time and try to control as many variables as possible. Dont get desperate and throw the baby out with the bathwater by assuming that nothing youre doing is working and everything needs to be changed. Patience and diligence, not desperation and insecurity, will deliver health, vitality, and the body you see in your dreams.
