Changes to the page taking effect after New Year’s: This is your chance to have your say about the content posted by this page. Up until now, posts have been more or less limited to articles written by Justin King, a quote of the day, and a “this day in history” post. All of those items will remain. After the New Year, once a day we will post either: A link to an event page readers might find interesting A link to the fan page of another journalist or activist organization A link to campaign raising money for a particular cause We are also considering promoting a different T-shirt each month that will highlight a different cause. A large portion of the proceeds (70%) will be directly donated to support the cause of the month. The remainder will be used to pay for designing the costs associate with designing the T-shirt, advertising, and general overhead associated with the fundraising. What do you think of these ideas, and is there anything else you would like to see on the page? Or if you have suggestions on causes to support or share, let us know.
