Changing of the Guards. Or in this case changing of the Aunts. Aunt Bug and Aunt Bel swapped places today. I felt really good about leaving this time now that she is awakening. Charlotte had a wonderful and busy day. Her team of doctors are thrilled with her progress. The look on their faces when they got to lay eyes on her was priceless. Charlotte enjoyed getting all the wires that measure brain waves off of her head today. Her brain seams to be settling down from the trauma and entering a true healing phase. After having her hair washed and braided she also received a therapeutic massage and Reiki, which is supported by Dartmouth-Hitchcock and advocated by them. Her healing will continue to happen in its own time. Her over all out look looks positively perfect. Rehab is in her near future and the duration of her journey will reveal itself as the moments pass. Our family is over whelmed with joy from all the support, loving words, prayers, and love letters that continue to pour in. I believe Charlottes miracle is directly related to all of it. Sleep well every body !!
