Chaotic passing of the draconian police bill by Kenya s Parliament - TopicsExpress

Chaotic passing of the draconian police bill by Kenya s Parliament against the will of citizens is not a big deal. Its facing legal challenge in Kenya s Courts but let it not deny you sleepless nights or icing of Christmas festive season. We shall deal with it practically if courts uphold parliament s ugly dark cloud on people of the land. The question is, how many citizens will the government law enforcers arrest, detain or kill if they decide not to observe, respect or obey this their draconian laws? Will government law enforcer arrest, detain or kill the entire population if citizen decide not to observe, respect or abide by this their draconian laws? In this our digital age, i/we believe in human fundamental rights. Right to freedom of association and expression. Right to a decent living with basic needs like water, shelter, food and inhabitable environment/Medicare. Right to practice spiritual belief. Right to work and own property. And right to elect or be elected/nominated to leadership in a democratic environment. If the draconian police bill passed in Kenya s parliament on 18th December 2014 become law and infringe on any of my/our human fundamental rights, then under no circumstances should Kenyans observe, respect or abide by it in our daily practice of living. Will government law enforcers arrest/detain or kill all of us if we take this path? Just don t observe and refuse to obey laws that infringe on our fundamental rights.
