Chapel of Mary Magdalene and Marys Column in the center of the old Bustehrad Bustehrad (in older times Buštěves or Buck) is a rapidly growing small town in central Bohemia, situated 5 km east of Kladno and 19 km northwest of the city center. The city, which are also in the east, situated settlement Bouchalka, has an area of 7.61 km² and counts 2732 inhabitants. Bustehrad territory has been inhabited for several thousand years, as evidenced by archaeological findings in the town and nearby. The most interesting findings include skeletal burial site of the Neolithic fortified settlement (950-1200 AD). The first mention of the village, however, is found only in a deed relating to property monastery in the OS which confirmed the Prague Bishop Daniel in 1209 and which was, inter alia, also appointed farmhouse in the village Busczewes. Benign him, by the estate became part of the complex of imperial estates, where he remained until 1918, when it became the property of the Czechoslovak Republic as the national estate. In the years 1915-1919 belonged Bustehrad between sites, which accommodated the inhabitants of South Tyrol Ledro Valley (Austrian members of Italian nationality) forcibly evacuated to Bohemia from war WW1. Total in town found its temporary home of approximately 129 persons (27 families), part of the population (approx. 45 persons) were housed in the restaurant U Bečvář, which stands in the town Bustehrad less than 200 years.
