Chapter 117 A week had passed, and Perceptor had finally completed the synthetic skin for all five of the cybernetic humans. He had placed each individual pieces of skin in different containers with a name of the cybernetic it belonged too. In all he had five small containers. He stacked all the containers, and picked them up and carried them to the sickbay, where Ratchet and First Aid were waiting for them. There you are, we have been waiting for this delivery. said a very happy Ratchet. I have with me five containers, filled with synthetic skin. Each has been labeled with the cybernetic humans name. All the two of you need to do now, is to fit them on the cybernetic humans bodies. replied Perceptor, as he placed it on the table, and opened one of the containers, which had the name of Kelly on the side of it, and took out what looked like a glove made out of skin. He then brought it over to Ratchet, this glove of skin was complete with very fine blond hair and long slender nails that were set in place, and the left glove even had a weird shaped birthmark that Kelly had. And gave it to him. Here Ratchet, this is Kellys skin for her hands, as you can see I left out no small detail, I even perfectly replicated the so called birthmark on her left hand. Her nails will never grow, but if they do ware down to much or fall out I have made plenty of replacement nails. He then returned to the container and opened it up again, and brought out what looked like a shrunken head, complete with long jet black hair, and gave this to First Aid, This on the other hand was far more difficult for me to do. However I think that I have stood up to the challenge, and once again I left no detail out, it is a perfect replica of Kellys face. First Aid carefully examined the skin, and commented, The attention to detail is exquisite, you really out did yourself, Perceptor. I presume that this stretches a little so that it can be fitted onto Kellys head? I have specifically designed all the pieces of skin to stretch a little, as it will fulfill the look. And if in the off chance that they are injured, I have developed this spray that will make the skin regrow over the damage parts of the skin. I have place five cylinders of sprays inside each container, for your use to cover the joints of the different pieces of skin together. First Aid and Ratchet swapped over the pieces of skin they were handed, and examined it thoroughly. This is extremely good Perceptor, so good in fact they wont even realize that their skin had to be completely replaced. We shall start fitting them into their new skins very soon. Thank you. said Ratchet. Your most welcomed, but you also need to give some thanks to Wheeljack and Brainstorm, they were the ones that created the skin, all I did was the finishing touches. replied Perceptor. We will. Hey Perceptor, Red Alert was in earlier, and he was searching for a piece of organic material that was reportedly stolen. said First Aid. I didnt steel it, I commandeered it. I needed it for scientific data so I can make this synthetic skin as realistic as possible. I would of returned it afterwards, however by that time it had decayed beyond the point of consumption. So I had to dispose with it. replied Perceptor. All three of them chuckled at it. Afterwards Perceptor returned to his laboratory. Meanwhile Wheeljack and Brainstorm were close to complete the new bodies for Skywire and Drift. Brainstorm was able to repair the T-Cogs back to normal. They were very pleased with this progress, soon their friends will be back to normal again. They had spoken with Rewind, who has been busy of late gathering every single piece of data possible about Skywire and Drift, and with the assistance of a mnemosurgeon they will soon remember everything. Brainstorm installed their T-Cogs in place, and to get things doubled checked they contacted Perceptor to come to their workshop, to see what he thinks. Perceptor arrived at their workshop an hour later, as he was with a client. Wheeljack showed Perceptor the new bodies for Skywire and Drift, and he was immediately impressed. And now it was up to Perceptor to do what he does best that was examining the microscopic chips and other sized chips for flaws, so that he can repair them. He transformed into a microscope and started with Drifts left ankle.
