Chapter 12, Day 7: EleFan: For the love of elephants (and other giant animals) Somehow, I remember Mickey Rourke making a comment, paraphrased: “When you’re buying a horse, you don’t look for one with a short neck,” or something like that. Of course, he wasn’t talking about horses; he was talking about women to whom he’s attracted. And certainly, women he’s been attached to have been gorgeous and graceful. I am so CRAZY for this guy. It’s funny, because celebrity stuff holds little interest for me…But, somehow, Mickey’s aura has just kept me hungry for him…My friend, Chris, says Mickey is my “shoes under the bed” guy…Yeah…Don’t I wish….Anyway, when I think of gracefulness, I think of swans…Long necks, right, Mickey? So…I am laughing right now…A couple of weeks ago, I started doing neck exercises, to tighten up that flesh…Believe it or not, these exercises work…You just have to be religious about them…Doing them in “power sets,” one right after the other…Kevin, my beloved trainer, would be proud of me…LOL I expect that, in 6 months, my neck will be as good as it’s going to get…In the meantime, I’ll post a foto of Mickey and a foto of a swan on my bathroom mirror, to keep me motivated…Desire can be a wonderful thing….
