Chapter 16 goes into another parable—the parable of an abandoned little orphan, a dirty and filthy little child, for whom it would seem there is nothing that can be done. Ezekiel is not going to let us forget that he is giving us the Word of the Lord. We may not accept it, but it is still His Word. Who is the little orphan? Who is the little dirty, filthy child who has been thrown out? Who is this illegitimate child? It is the city of Jerusalem . The same applies to the Church today when it as ignored the true Word of God and Christians become contaminated with the tolerant world of sin. Israel did the same and God judged them for their sins and turning away from Him. This parable most definitely applies to us today and the Father in Heaven will discipline His children when they get out of line. We will find out more of this filthy orphan as we continue our study in this chapter. Take time now to Pray, talk to God, give God the adoration He deserves, confess your sins, pray for others and walk in the light of Christ. Be Alert today and everyday for the coming of Jesus. Make a difference today by sharing your story, face to face, by e-mail or on face book. The Holy Spirit will be by your side, so it is up to you. Begin, by praying for one another. This is the LOVE of Christ in and through you. In Christ We Walk and Talk, be obedient, so let’s walk and talk in Christ together, in the Unity of God’s Church loving one another and giving God the Glory, not ourselves. Let’s take the Gospel to all people and Nations as Disciples of Christ! LET IT BEGIN WITH ME, TODAY. Don’t let Satan have a foot hold in your life! Pray and study you Bible daily, be a part of a Church Family, and do what Christ has called you to do, and tell your story of how by God’s Grace you were saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
