Chapter 2.5 and ½: “The Sino-Japanese War Part2” The editors at You Hollywood did a good job blogging through this one. As was stated in the last chapter future behavior is accurately predicted by past behavior. Now that has to do with individuals, and countries (governments). Sometimes these governments mirror the cumulative consciousness’s of many individuals residing within those countries. Please remember that there were Germans who dissented against Hitler’s rule, and Russians who dissented against Stalin’s rule. They were promptly detained, properly fed, and then properly shot. Remember that a truly free society has the right to dissent. The world will only be a safer place when all the world’s governments are “Democratically” elected (free) and economies integrated based on that assumption. Don’t let the leaders of the “Corporate Global Behemoths” tell you that countries that trade together are less likely to start a war. youtu.be/H9yKqcs699k The second Sino-Japanese War started in 1931 with a full scale invasion by the Japanese in 1937. However, The Russo-Japanese war fought in 1904 gave the Japanese interests in China. As usual, to the victor went the spoils; and, in this case; strategic interests were given to the Japanese. They held mineral rights in the Province of Manchuria. To get these materials back to the “Homeland”, they were given the right to build and own the railways needed for this endeavor (inside of China). Now Japan is an island nation. To expand their “Fledgling Enterprise” meant that they had to secure raw materials. Please note that this “Hostile Takeover” started in 1845 (including fighting the Ruskie’s} and continued through the time period of this second war. However, it didn’t end there with this bad behavior continuing throughout the “South Pacific”; and, cumulated upon the bombing of “Pearl Harbor” December 7, 1941. Please note that the reason why the Japanese struck us was because America was dissenting against the Japanese “Stratagem”. Our congress enacted laws to restrict the flow of oil to Japan; thus, threatening their war machine. To educate you thoroughly in regard to the debauchery of the “Japanese Stratagem”…we give you a film clip from the “Joker”… youtu.be/P10bC0Bxp20 Now back to the topic at hand, the second Sino-Japanese war. Japan invaded Manchuria in 1931; because, (now get this) they accused the Chinese essentially of unfair trade. Now I am no saint; but, to a man like me that’s cold. Now we have these two countries engaging in the “Great Jihad” of their day…and what do you suppose that they learned from all of this? Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the world trade statistics going back 30 years…ok and here we…GO!!! Now when you open this link brought to us by The United States Government, please scroll down and select the country China; and then, the country Japan. census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c5700.html What you should have seen is that we have never had balanced trade with these two counties for the last thirty years. And why is that? A couple of more documents for your pleasure: huffingtonpost/2011/09/23/timothy-geithner-china-very-aggressive-stealing-technology_n_977509.html heritage.org/research/testimony/2012/07/the-most-important-chinese-trade-barriers So here we have two countries that waged “The Great Jihad” against one another. The one country (China) we saved because their war effort was merged into the WW2 “South Pacific Theater”. The other country (Japan) we bombed, destroyed, and then rebuilt. Then what do they do? They cheat us in every way in regard to “International Trade” which is now just another form of warfare (economic). Hell they couldn’t beat us with bullets and “True Grit”, so they plant a couple of powerful lobbyists in Washington DC and behold…”Pennies from Heaven.” Now this example is taken out of context; but, it really makes the point of what we are trying to say… blogs.wsj/washwire/2014/09/02/russian-bank-under-sanctions-hires-trent-lott-as-lobbyist/ Now back to the second Sino-Japanese War. By 1941, the Japanese had occupied most of northern and coastal China. The Chinese were really getting the snot kicked out of them, so much in fact, that they had to move their capital from Nanking, to the unoccupied city of Chongqing. Now to really complicate things, behind the lines of fighting the Japanese, various factions of the Chinese government were carrying out their “Great Internal Jihad” of their day. Can you believe it? Yes a civil war was taking place at the same time! Talk about a mess! At the time there were two militarized factions in China: the KMT led by Marshal Zhang Xueliang; and, the CCP led by Chiang Kai-sek. Marshal Zhang Xueliang was feeling very disgruntled after being criticized of his lack luster military performance. So on December 12, 1941, he decided to kidnap Chiang Kai-sek. He did this hoping to end the conflict between the KMT and CCP. However, the editors at You Hollywood have another hypothesis. You see both of their names are very long and difficult to pronounce. So, when addressing one another they resorted by saying: “You talking to me?” Now I don’t care where you reside…China, America, Russia, or the Philippines. If you don’t call me by my real name; but, refer to me by saying “You talking to me”, well them isa afighting words. Being that this is an educational document, we all must observe proper “Social Etiquette” at all times. We think that this is how it all went down… youtu.be/hM9uFaGGVwk Eventually America merged the “Chinese War Theater” into WW2. We helped supply the Chinese by rebuilding the “Burma Road” which became later known as the “Ledo Road”. We also wanted the Chinese to orchestrate a counter offensive to tie up Japanese forces while American forces would strike the Japanese elsewhere. Do you know what happened? The Chinese felt that they had lost too many lives any didn’t want to risk losing anymore. Are you kidding me? I don’t know about you; but, when the very sovereignty of my country is at stake…it’s to the last man standing. Because of China’s lack of cooperation, America embarked on an island hopping strategy to defeat the Japanese. This culminated in the airstrikes of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ending the war. So America freed China from “The Tyrant” of the world. If we would not have done so, most of China would be occupied by the Japanese. Of course, instead of eating Eggrolls and Wanton soup…you Chinese would be getting your daily rations of Rice and Sake. Now I like Sake if served at the right temperature. Does anyone know what that temperature is? youtu.be/Vn5GDuQ3Yfc
