Chapter 2... Tribulation The biggest threat to America today is not Ebola, AL Qaeda and ISIS or Vladimir Putin. The biggest threat to America today is... Our Political Class. They are the men and women who blatantly lie to US... so they can serve the BIG MONEY interests who keep Our Political Class in power. My fellow Americans, its time to start the fight between... THE DARK and THE LIGHT. But before we go any further lets make one point CRYSTAL CLEAR. Some of the darkest souls in history have belonged to men with the whitest of skin... and some of the most beautiful and radiant light that I have ever witnessed has come from the souls of men and women with the darkest of skin. So this fight between The Dark and The Light is ABSOLUTELY not about the color of ones skin. Its about beliefs. Throughout history some people have believed in the idea that the strong should rule the weak... and all we have gotten from that UGLY idea is a world that is filled with darkness. But over time, some people... LEARNED... to believe in The Idea of Equality. And as more and more people became lovers of that idea... The Dark Ages finally began to come to an end. How do we finally, once and for all defeat The Dark? Well, it helps to remember that... The most beautiful code ever given to man is the idea that ALL men and women are created equal... but NOT all ideas... and the only way to respond to problems that rise out of darkness and hate is more light. Why? Because darkness is the absence of light. For the purposes of this fight... we will call the people who believe in the idea that the strong should rule the weak... The Elitists. And we will call those who disagree with The Elitists... The Good People of America... who love the idea of Equality and believe in The American Dream. Barack Obama is an Elitist... and his dream is an American Socialist State... a nation state where the strong rule the weak. I know, its tough to prove. But its a relatively easy case to make. The problem is... those who have been trying to make that case are the same people who have helped turn The United States of America from a great nation... into a dysfunctional State. And Thats How Socialism Spreads... through dysfunction. So far the oppositions strategy has been to oppose Barack Obama at ALL costs. Even if that opposition is bad for America. This needs to change. America needs a Loyal Opposition. All versions of Socialism begin by touting The Idea of Equality... and end with The Elitists ruling The Common Man... who never learned to take care of himself. Barack Obamas plan to advance Socialism in America begins and ends with destroying our belief in The American Dream. Examples abound... but if you need proof... all you need to do is look back to the dark day that Barack Obama announced Caroline Kennedy as Americas next Ambassador to Japan. On the day that Mr. Obama made that announcement he also gave a speech about The American Economy, The American Dream and how things need to be more fair. Why does this matter? Because Caroline Kennedy wasnt then and isnt now qualified to be Americas Ambassador to Japan. And with this appointment... Mr. Obama... destroyed a lesser known but infinitely more qualified candidates dream... somewhere. And thats NOT FAIR... Mr. Obama. AND thats how Socialism works and spreads. And thats how Barack Obama destroys our belief in The American Dream... by saying one thing, while DOING the exact opposite thing... Over and Over and Over again. Plain and simple, Socialism is A Dream Killer... and its an idea that belongs to The Dark... AND... The Beast. Where to begin? Lets go back to the place where it all began... The battle to claim The American Way began on April 19th 1775 when the first shots were fired in Americas Revolutionary War... but Americans didnt really know for sure what they were fighting for until the day The Declaration of Independence was signed. And then The Civil War and The Civil Rights Movement proved The Good Fight was going to be an ongoing war that would span multiple generations and last until the promise of an inspired nation was finally set in stone. Its hard to say when the final round and final volley will come, but its easy to see on September 11th 2001... The Flame came once again... to test our resolve and commitment to The American Way of Life. Some people say that 9-11 was the defining moment of our lifetime. For a while it was hard to argue that it wasnt, given the overpowering context that it created for all of our security and economic decisions that followed. But with the benefit of hindsight and lots of time on my hands to observe a post 9-11 America, I began to see the attacks within their full context. There is a greater and more important tribulation that swirls around the dark edges of that experience and it will be the sum of these occurrences and how We choose to respond that will ultimately prove the continuation of our American Way of Life... OR NOT. The Veiled War began well before the year 2000 and The Bush Presidency, but his reign brought the ominous nature of the threats to Our Americanism to the forefront of our public consciousness. Over time it became unambiguously clear to me, that 9-11 was only one in a long series of painful assaults that highlighted the ongoing contradictions to our most precious American ideals. We all held our breath as The Supreme Court by a 5-4 margin picked Our President. It was certainly a big deal at the time that a Court and not The People resolved a Presidential election. No matter which side you wanted to win, all of US lost when The Rehnquist Court, by changing the history of its authoring nature made a new way for itself in becoming a third co-equal branch of political interest. Bush v. Gore... a decision for the ages... ignited the first serious erosion of faith in each other as True Americans. Then came 9-11... Thats when the American belief most taken for granted, that overwhelming Military Power could keep US safe at home was shattered in a matter of moments. The outpouring of emotions following that tragic loss revealed the very best and the very worst of our intentions and enabled a raging and divisive battle. We all could have agreed that an America bound by Uniting Purposes was a more inspired place to live. But the opportunity to galvanize America was shunned in favor of political advantage and distinction and with that tactical choice... to divide one American from another, Our leaders fueled the nature of Our Self-Destructive elements, giving much needed hope to Our Terrorist Enemies instead of Our People. Next our Capitalist System which made the US economy the most powerful in world history was exposed to be ripe with fraud and our free markets proven not so free. CEOs... men and women who epitomized the best educated and most trustworthy Americans were led away in handcuffs and placed in prison cells. While average men and women who had entrusted their financial well being to those pillars and institutions, wondered how these Americans could have become the enemy too. Betrayed by our own, We felt a dark sense of helplessness as We watched our retirement savings and dreams disappear. With unsettling events unfolding day after day, many Americans turned to their Faith for spiritual answers only to witness a great shaking out of evil within the clergy. So-called men of God were raping our children for decades while Church Leaders gave their attention to the cover-up instead of the protection of our childrens purity. Priests doing perp walks made all of US Thank God for the remote control when Our children were in the room. Tough times indeed thank God for Family. Well along came an issue which most Americans never saw coming... Gay Marriage. And too many Americans who didnt think they had a reason to know, soon found out the complexity of the issue when they realized that children were involved. Never before giving thought that some families were already different than their own. The sanctity of family, always so important to US became an instrument of hate in the Candidates arsenal of segregate power. Losing Our Moral Authority was almost more than We could bear when the World witnessed Our National shame at Abu Ghraib Prison in Iraq and shame on American leaders who attempted to excuse Our Role in torture. As Modern Day American Politics morphed into a transparent game of Wag the Dog... the monumental stakes of life and death, war, torture and nuclear holocaust clung to the wings of The American Eagle. Perhaps when We thought We had seen it all... Then came Katrina and Our collective disgrace and sadness as the refugees were at long last a reflection of the Unequal American Self... not war torn Somalia or Beirut, poverty stricken Indonesia or Vietnam... no, this was Mardi Gras Central. If ever we needed the winds of destruction to become the winds of change this was the time. But instead they deepened the same, the same poverty, the same political ineptitude, the same pattern of blame and the same rampant shame on US. But at least we still have Americas Level Playing Fields... Oops. The images of Mark McGwire with tears in his eyes and quivering lips in front of a Congressional Steroid Hearing was a far stretch from the day the Nation so proudly watched him swing his way past Babe Ruth then Roger Maris for the single season home-run record. What came next? Mislabeled Graves May Number 6,600 ...at Arlington National Cemetery -July 29, 2010 With that unbelievable headline, America was forced to see that the contradictions to Our Sacred American Beliefs had no sacred ground or boundaries that were safe from this dark attack. The deeds of a dastardly few? No, this was part of a dark pattern of soldier abuse that first came to light with The Walter Reed Army Medical Center Neglect Scandal in 2007. And then... on December 7th 2011, the 70 year anniversary of The Pearl Harbor Attack... The Washington Post reported The Air Force dumped the incinerated partial remains of at least 274 American troops in a Virginia landfill, far more than the military had acknowledged, before halting the secretive practice three years ago, records show. AND then because of The Sequestration... NBC News reported Marines steamed by loss of hot meal at Afghanistan base. AND... ABC News Maryland reports: Walter Reed hospital workers receive furlough notices. AND then... on May 14th 2014... CNN reported As VA wait-list scandal grows, Senate and veterans will finally hear from Shinseki. Perhaps too often lost to US who are so close to The Flame is the fact that the dark attacks didnt stand alone as singular American events. When We failed to protect The American Way, the grave implications of Americas weakening power surged around the world. Simply put, We gave cover to dictators and demagogues who could never withstand the full light from The Beacon of Hope. AND... thats how Crimea became a part of Russia.
