Chapter 4: Glorys Happy Ending (with a little help from DIVINE INTERVENTION). Yall arent even going to believe this. So where we left off was we were all distraught and trying to come up with a plan for Glo. We were stressed because we knew the chances of finding a home with no other dogs is always a miracle, and they just dont come along that often. Cut to our friend Ashley who lives across town, who we havent been in touch with lately. On Thursday, Ashley had to go home to meet a utility worker who was going to turn on her water. She had her two pit bulls out in the yard walking them when the utility truck drove up. The guy gets out and comes over, saying how much he just loves her pit bulls, and that he used to have one but had to give her up because his family was threatened with eviction. He said a rescue took her right before he was going to drop her off at the shelter. He just kept petting her dogs and saying how he would do anything to have her back....and that his wife and two daughters had cried about her and asked about her ever since he gave her up. RECORD SCRATTTTCCCHHHEEDDDD...... Ashley said, Was her name Paige? and he said, YES! Thats who I gave her to! Ashley ran inside to call me, and IT WAS INDEED HER ORIGINAL OWNER!!!! He was crying about the possibility of getting her back and he called his wife and she started crying too. They were overjoyed, and their daughters jumped on their mom, hugging her and crying because they were so excited to have her home. So, today, I went over to Jeff and Debbies to take photos with them and their other two pit bulls, we got one of all of us, then headed over to Glorys new old home. The Dad Curtis was the only one home, the mom and kids were still at church, but it was a happy, happy reunion, and his house is so nice, and best of all, there is a huge backyard that is fenced with a 6 foot privacy fence. We cant even make a story like this up. It had to be DIVINE INTERVENTION yet again! And Glory lived happily ever after with her original family! THE END. We are all relieved, happy, sad, mixed emotions all around....but mostly happy that Glory will be so loved.
