Chapter 44 “Kasimei’s hard work and pain” It is a bright sunny morning and Kasimei was getting ready for her first mission since she joined the Chirokusai Heinako Branch. She was really excited to go out on her first mission. Hinako told Kasuyo to keep an eye on Kasimei so she doesn’t get hurt. Kasuyo told her that he would protect her with his life and he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her. She was really glad that she had him on her side so that way she wouldn’t get hurt on her missions. On their first mission they had to recover some items that were stolen from a museum that was nearby in one of the major cities. Kasimei was really excited to get the treasures back and also to catch the criminals that had stolen the treasures. Kasuyo told her to be careful and not to wonder too far from him. She nodded her head to show that she understood and then they went inside to get the mission done. During the mission Kasimei started to feel a little bit nervous but then Kasuyo grabbed her hand and told her that everything was going to be alright. She nodded her head again and then when they saw the criminals coming in the set up their traps and then their mission truly began. The criminals looked up and they saw that Kasimei and Kasuyo were hiding behind the stairs and then the boss said “Get those children and bring them to me.” They shot at them with their guns but then Kasuyo throw a smoke bomb near them and then they were able to escape and get the treasures back. After the mission was completed they went back in the hideout and then they were able to catch the criminals with some rope traps that they had set up and then they grabbed them and then brought them to the police station. After they brought them to the police station they then got the reward money and then they brought the money back to HQ and when Hinako saw how much money they made she was very impressed. But then suddenly Kasimei started to feel really strange like she had a really bad pain in her head. When Hinako saw that Kasimei wasn’t feeling well she sent her to her room so that way she could get some rest. She thought that it was from all the work from the mission. She also thought that because of the mission it put too much strain on her and her body. Chesuai told Hinako that she had noticed that Kasimei had looked really pale earlier. Hinako said that she would take a break before they put her on the next assignment. After Kasimei rested in her room for a while she got up, washed her face and then she went back downstairs so she could get some of her work done. When she came down Hinako noticed that she looked a lot better than she did before. Which for her was a good thing. She thought that since the company trip was coming up soon she thought that it would be nice for them to go on a very nice place for vacation. She talked over with the branch manager and he thought that it was a great idea. So they all had a quick meeting at the end of the work day so they could decide where they wanted to go. After a quick discussion and a vote they decided that they would go to Torikorai City for their vacation. They all agreed and then they all cheered that it was going to be the best vacation ever. Hinako also told them that the day after tomorrow there was going to be a festival celebrating the 200 year anniversary of when the whole world resurfaced after the sea had swallowed the whole world and then after it resurfaced the world was divided into 7 major cities. Kasimei and Kasuyo were really excited to celebrate the festival that was the day after tomorrow. Kasimei had a flashback of something but she ignored it and moved on with her work. She only thought about the festival that was coming up and seeing what it was going to be like.
