Chapter Ten The New Age Bible Revelation 20:18-“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. The above passage is spoken by Jesus Christ in His closing statements of the Book of Revelation. Some believe this passage only pertains to this one book of the Bible, but God meant it for His entire word. God has brought wrath on many throughout history that have defiled His reputation and His words. God is serious about His word and has made it known that He is against those that defame His word and His reputation to bring others to error. Deuteronomy 18:20-“But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.” Jeremiah 23:28-The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord. 29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? 30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. 31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. 32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord.” With the spiritual battle being fought between evil and good, light against the dark and God against Satan, one needs to discern what are God’s words and what are not. Satan and his dominion has spent nearly 2,000 years, since the time of Christ, bringing deceptions to the gospel or good news. He has attacked God’s word while most of the church is naïve to it. Ephesians 6:13-“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” God has given every Christian believer protection from the adversary. Ephesians chapter 6, teaches Christians that the full armor of God is provided. All one has to do is put it on. One can see that there is only one weapon in this armor and that is “the sword of the spirit” which is “the word of God”! God’s word is our defense and offense against the “wiles of the devil. Is it any wonder why Satan and his dominion would want to weaken that only weapon? It would be totally naïve to think that they wouldn’t. Genesis 3:1”Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” In Genesis chapter 3:1, the serpent (Satan) is described as being more “subtil” than any beasts of the field. This is a descriptive word that clues mankind to a very important character that the adversary has. He is then going to be cunning and deceptive through his subtleties. The deceptions are not ever going to be obvious and one must be aware that even though something seems right or comfortable, it may be a deception that Satan and his dominion has brought upon you. Notice in Genesis 3:1, Satan started even in the garden to tweak God’s words just enough (subtle) to confuse Eve. Common sense tells one that he hasn’t stopped there. He has been doing this throughout the ages and is doing this even today. God’s word has been preserved by God from the time before the Flood of Noah until now. At the time of the Flood, Noah brought upon the ark, the writings that were given to him by his grandfather Methuselah. The initial writings of the Ancient Book of Jasher as well as the Book of Enoch are of those that may have been on that ark. As God spoke to Job and then Moses, these writings were preserved by the Hebrew scribes. And through Joshua and the judges on through the times of the captivity of the northern and southern kingdoms, the scribes would continually copy and recopy, with precision, every jot and tittle to preserve God’s words. By the time of the first coming of Jesus Christ, the scribes had obeyed God and preserved His words by this continuous recopying of His words. Amazingly, as they would be copying God’s word, if one word, jot or tittle was wrong, they would have to start over again to copy the writings absolutely perfect. After Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected, the believers were persecuted by the Jews along with the scribes. This meant that there were no scribes to copy and recopy the New Testament writings. How was God going to preserve His words without the scribes? God is amazing in His ways! He used His command for the letters from the Apostles to be read by the entire church as His way for His truth to be distributed and preserved. He commanded these writings to be passed on and read. One copy cannot be distributed very effectively, so they had to be copied. Through the sovereignty of God, the Christians copied and recopied these letters with precision so that they could be passed on to others in the church to read. Colossians 4:16-“And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.” Revelation 1:11-“Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.” 1 Thessalonians 5:27-“I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.” 2 Corinthians 1-“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:” With the church making these copies, it was easy to recognize a fraudulent letter. It didn’t match with the other copies. Thousands of copies were in circulation around Asia. God succeeded in His preservation of His words once again. Satan has known that the words spoken by God through the hands of the Apostles were power over him. He needed to soften these words for they were like a sword in the battle between good and evil. His plan had to be subtle and strategic. He raised up his false church in Rome cloaked with Christianity. He had a base to work from with the Roman Catholic Church. The text used by Satan, The Alexandrian Manuscripts, is a small one of a very few manuscripts or copies. These texts appear in Greek, Latin and English. The Greek versions are: The Codex Vaticanus or Codex B, in the library at Rome; and Codex Sinaiticus, or Codex Aleph; the Latin version is The Vulgate or Latin Bible of Jerome; and the English versions manifest as The Jesuit Bible (1582) and its derivative, the Douay-Rheims Bible, or Catholic Bible. Roman Catholicism brought about a famine of God’s word. From the fifth century through the fifteenth century, Rome made it illegal to own a Bible. One was not to be seen with a Bible nor speak words from it or one would be killed and called a heretic or even a witch. One doesn’t have to look far on the internet to read of these horrific times, though Roman Catholic authorities have tweaked the history books to be read in Rome’s favor as though they were killing off heretics for God. The Alexandrian Manuscript was written in a way that changed the gospel as well as the important Christian doctrines of hell, idolatry and ritualistic practices. The Catholic priest of those times were brainwashed into the Roman Catholic system and did not know the true gospel. Satan was flourishing throughout Europe and Asia with Christianity being misunderstood and un-powerful to those whom only knew the doctrines of the Vatican. God needed to make a move in Europe to bring His word back to the people. He had his remnants strategically planted throughout Europe that knew the truth of His gospel and salvation. God brought His reform to Europe at the right time for the “New World” that was to be rediscovered. The pre-reformation was first realized with John Wycliffe and the Lollards whom brought the first known reformation attempts after Wycliffe published the first English translation of the Latin Volgate in 1384. Jan Hus, influenced by John Wycliffe, continued the reform of the church by shedding light on the moral failings of clergy, bishops, and even the papacy from his pulpit. In 1415, Hus was burned at the stake for heresy against the doctrines of the Catholic Church such as the Eucarist and other theological topics. With the fall of Constantinople in 1453, scholars from the Byzantine Empire brought Greek literature to the west including the New Testament in the original Greek text from those thousands of preserved manuscripts from the 1st century church. This laid the groundwork to the reformation. In 1448, Johann Gutenberg invented the printing press using movable blocks of letters and graphics. This made it possible to print books in a fraction of time that it once took. In 1519, Desiderius Erasmus, translated and published the New Testament side by side between the original Greek and Latin. This was called the Textus Receptus. This brought the reformers such as Martin Luther, John Calvin, William Tyndale and others the true Greek text which brought the truth of the good news of salvation to Europe. King James VI of Scotland was crowned July 29, 1567 as an infant and crowned King of England (as James I) from July 25, 1603 before which he took full reign of Scotland in 1583. James was the son of Mary Queen of Scots and her second husband, Lord Darnley, he succeeded to the Scottish throne on the enforced abdication of his mother and assumed power in 1583. He established a strong centralized authority, and in 1589 married Anne of Denmark (1574–1619). During James’ youth, he studied under a great tutor named George Buchanan. He was given an extremely extensive scholarly education including a thorough teaching of protestant Christianity. In 1603, Queen Elizabeth I died and James was appointed King of England by her from her death bed. As James entered into London for the first time, he was immediately confronted by the puritans with a petition to meet as a summit to discuss the conflict between church and state. The bishops were opposed to this summit but did attend and presented their objections. The extreme wit of King James stifled the two sides. The bishops controlled the Christian church over the last forty years while using a very “lazy work” or corrupted translation of the Bible known as the Bishops Bible. The Puritans used the 1599 Geneva Bible along with its scholar notes on each page. King James hated both translations and after he rebuked the Puritans and the Bishops, he agreed with the Puritans in developing a single translation that all would agree to. Both the Bishops and the Puritans would work side by side with a checks and balancing system to make sure they all agreed with each other. It took forty seven scholars seven years while in the Westminster Abbey as they used the First Rabbinic Bible of The Masoretic Text, edited by Felix Pratensis in 1517-1518, for the Old Testament and the Textus Receptus for the New Testament. The Roman Catholic Church leaders in London were feeling neglected during the time of the King James Bible development; there was a Catholic deacon named Guy Fawkes whom plotted to kill the 47 scholars as well as the entire royal family. It was known as the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. Principle Secretary of State, Robert Cecil, was the hero whom was given a letter written to a royal executive by a conspirator as a warning to him. Robert Cecil organized a search party whom found the gunpowder room below Westminster Abbey containing 30 barrels of gunpowder and the conspirators. This was enough gunpowder to blow up the entire Westminster Abbey. Through the hand of God was this well organized effort to bring together an English translation of the Holy Bible. This version of the Bible is recognized as the most widely used book and highest selling book of all time. God had planned on this translation to be the one to bring so many people to Him and to be used during the last days to be the “sword of the spirit” and “the word of God” for the English speaking populations. Through God’s sovereignty, he prevented the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 as Satan made his attempt at stopping the King James Bible from being printed and failed. Satan had to devise a plan to stop the spreading of God’s word as the King James Bible of 1611 was being used. It is definitely a sharper two edged sword that cuts through the wiles of Satan. Satan’s Roman Catholic Church still had control over hundreds of millions of people and many governments of the world and does even today. With this power, Satan is still able to use his unclean spirits to bring about the corruption of men. The publication in 1881 of The New Testament in the Original Greek, by the Cambridge scholars Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1901) and Fenton John Anthony Hort (1828-1892), marked the culmination of twenty-eight years of work and an innovation in the theory and methods of New Testament textual criticism. Secular historians and numerous occult books see B.F. Westcott as the Father of the current channeling phenomenon, a major source of the “doctrines of devils” driving the New Age Movement. These two men, Westcott and Hort, were mystics that were assigned by the Roman Catholic Church to edit the already corrupt Alexandrian Text and bring in a New Age twist to the meanings of the scriptures. The final manuscripts is now called the Revised Standard Version of the New Testament. The New Age Bible of the twentieth and twenty first centuries are all using this corrupted text. Versions such as the NIV (New International Version) has 64,098 less words in it than the King James Version. In these words omitted are entire verses which are totally discarded. The NASB (New American Standard Bible) translators even corrupted an additional 24,000 words and dropped an additional 6,966 words. As these corrupted versions work toward the New Age religion, they set up the religion that brings in the coming of their awaited one, the antichrist. Name changing is one of their ploys, they have pulled Lucifer’s name out of the Bible and have replaced it with “morning star”. Lucifer’s name is in only one place and that is in Isaiah 14:12. If one knows the Bible, one can understand that Jesus called himself the morning star in Revelation 22:16. So these New Age translations want you to see Jesus as the one in Isaiah 14. Isaiah 14:12-“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” (King James Version) Isaiah 14:12-“How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!” (New International Version) Revelation 22:16-“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. (King James Version) Exclusions of very important verses are absolutely evil in intentions. How could anyone want to hold such a heretical book in their hands? Look at a passage in Acts 8:35-38, verse 37 is a very important verse and omitted in the corrupted translations. Acts 8:35-“Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.” (King James Version) Acts 8:35-“Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. 36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?” 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. (New International Version) Satan hates the power given to the church by God through His word but is also not liking the power the church has in praying and fasting. We are given power through the Holy Spirit to pray and fast about difficult spiritual battles. Satan does not want the church to know about this. Look at Mark 9:28-29: Mark 9:28-“And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? 29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. (King James Version) Mark 9:28-“After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” 29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.]” (New International Version) Mark 9:28-“ 28 When He came into the house, His disciples began questioning Him privately, “Why could we not drive it out?” 29 And He said to them, “This kind cannot come out by anything but prayer.” (New American Standard Bible) In the spiritual battle that a Christian will fight, the difference between just praying verses praying and fasting is tremendous. While fasting, the prayer is more focused and brought to intensity. This loosens the binds of the behind the scenes spiritual warfare and brings great power through the Holy Spirit to the believer. There are hundreds of words that declare Jesus Christ as deity that are just removed from these corrupted translations. This is done to bring in a universal acceptance between the many religions of the world to conform to a one world religion. Each year, these corrupted versions are changed to delete more words and soften the sword of the spirit. From reading these corrupted text even now, one can get the impression that this is just a simple butter knife that would be taken into a battle against the adversary. Luke 4:8-“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” (King James Version) Luke 4:8-“Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.” (New American Standard Bible) In the corrupted translations, there are changes made that are an absolute abomination to God. It should be well known that Lucifer fell from heaven because he had built up pride and felt he was too good for God to have to abide and obey Him. So he fell from heaven with one third of the angels that he drew with him. “Pride” is mentioned forty six times in the King James Bible and “proud” is mentioned fifty six times. Not a single time has the word “pride” or “proud” been used in a positive way. In all cases, it is an abominable thing before God. Yet, the corrupted translations have added the word “pride” and “proud” to eight different verses in the New Testament putting them in a positive light toward or by a believer. Verse NIV, NASB, ect. KJV 2 Corinthians 1:14 be proud your rejoicing 2 Corinthians 5:12 be proud glory on our behalf 2 Corinthians 1:12 our proud rejoicing James 1:10 take pride in no Greek word Philippians 1:26 Proud confidence your rejoicing James 1:9 take pride rejoice Galatians 6:4 take pride have rejoicing 2 Corinthians 7:4 take great pride great is my glorying There are many Christians that are respectable, God fearing and knowledgeable in the scriptures, yet they use a corrupted text. God will strengthen you and teach you in spite of the version but the extent of wisdom in scripture can be limited by the omitting or changing of that information. A question has to be asked to each Christian, if one had a choice to read an uncorrupted text provided by God to be His uncorrupted text or a text that was suspected of being corrupted by Satan and his dominion, which would one desire to read? If one loves God and wants to honor Him, one needs to put their pride aside and go against the world and decide on the correct version. I have found that God has revealed to me so many truths that He could not have shared with me if I was reading those corrupted versions. The truth is in the King James Version of God’s word and one can miss so much of that truth by reading the intentionally deceptive, corrupted translations. The examples given in this chapter are just a very small sample of the corruption in these antichrist Bibles. To get the full extent of what has been found, one can read a book written by a woman that researched for seven years to compile an exhausting comparison between the Authorized Standard version (King James Version) and the Revised Standard Versions that are absolutely filthy with corruption.
