Charismatic rock music can not even come close to comparing to songs like this that talk about the blood of Jesus! It may not appeal to our godless culture, but who cares???!!! The church is supposed to be counter-cultural and we shouldnt seek to appeal to our culture by adopting their music styles in a vain attempt to attract young people. When they come to God, their whole lives are supposed to change, from the way they dress all the way down to what style of music they listen to because thee true gospel of Jesus Christ changes a persons life. We come to God on His terms as Abel did, not on our own terms, as Cain did! There are certain types of worship that He will never accept regardless of what some backslidden, potbellied, snaggletoothed, compromising preacher thinks about it. Its time to serve God on His terms and stop trying to do things your way! This isnt Burger King, its the Kingdom of God and its Gods way or no way!
