Charles Chuck Lynn Richardson (June 12, 1962 - November 1, 2014) Charles Lynn “Chuck” Richardson of Andrews passes away peacefully at MUSC in Charleston November 1, 2014. The devoted husband and father was born in Marion, South Carolina June 12, 1962, son of Grace Turbeville Richardson and Robert Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brother-in-law, Roy Shelley. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Miriam Johnson Richardson, and sons Shaphan Robert (Jordan) Richardson, Charles Seth Richardson and Kaleb Wayne Richardson and grandchildren, Judith Christian, Justice Caon, Charles Zane and Natalie Grace Richardson. Also surviving are his siblings, Robert Wayne (Rebecca) Richardson, Dell Richardson (Chad) Steppe and Sherry Richardson Shelley (Roy) and nieces and nephews, Rachel and Ethan Richardson and Will, Grace and Joseph Steppe. Chuck’s deep belief in the blood of Christ’s redeeming love was shared freely and often from the pulpit to the mission field. His heart’s delight were his four grandchildren. He enjoyed restoring antique tractors, raising chickens, his blue tick hound, raising exotic flowers and crafting knives from railroad spikes. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, November 6 at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins, with Rev. Alton Johnson and Rev. Jim McManus officiating. In lieu of flowers, donation suggestions include Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Hope House, 314 Hibben St., Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 29464. The family would like to thank the MUSC Transplant and ECMO Teams for their dedication and care, and the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit Nurses for their outstanding kindness.
