With an alarming suddenness, Russia is clearly in the process of annexing the Crimean peninsula, the eastern Ukraine (possibly all of Ukraine) and then the Baltic states, to protect Russian compatriots. Then, it could easily be on to Budapest, to leverage that special Hungarian relationship. A relationship that would empower Hungary to march on Slovakia to protect Hungarian Compatriots.
