Charlie Hebdo ... a rally, and discomfort ... Demonstrating for dignity, for freedom, against terror. Yes, a thousand times yes! And yet ... marching with whom? Difficult to walk beside (or behind) leaders whose ideologies and political decisions have killed thousands of children, women and men, and are one of the causes of extremism. They march in Paris for human dignity and freedom of expression while their government is killing, torturing and destroying. Benjamin Netanyahu, Ali Bongo ... among other so-called humanists and democrats! A profound, very profound discomfort. Yet we must say and repeat our commitment to the values of dignity, freedom and justice. Beyond this march, today, our loyalty to the latter will be, tomorrow, to show that we are not fooled by potential instrumentalisations: to pause in order to be in communion with the wounded heart of hundreds of thousands marching in silence ... and tomorrow, with reason and conscience, questioning the politicians, their responsibilities as well as their betrayals.
