Charlie and I have just got back from the RS Feva worlds in Carnac - TopicsExpress

Charlie and I have just got back from the RS Feva worlds in Carnac where we sailed against 184 other boats from 17 different countries. We came out of the qualification days winning overall that put us in a really good mood. On the first day of gold fleet racing we slipped down to second overall because of a bad race. But in the last two days the wind went light and shifty and because me and charlie are a bit too heavy we struggled to get going off the line. We have been training hard over the winter on our light wind boat speed and it must have paid off because we finished 13th overall. We are happy with that due to the fact the our original goal was top 15. So our last Feva event, our first world championship, 13th overall and for a day we were leading! Congratulations to Bobby and Harvey who were deserving winners. Me and charlie would like to thank all the people that have supported us through our time in Fevas like Magic Marine, Seldén Masts, Solent Hotel and Spa and Liros Ropes.
