Wedgewood Church (4800 Wedgewood Dr.) Jurors -Dr. Anthony Abbot and Dr. Nancy Fairley Award-winning poet and novelist Anthony Abbott is the author of five books of poetry, including the Pulitzer nominated The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat. His newest book, If Words Could Save Us, was the recipient of the 2012 Brockman-Campbell Award. He is also the author of two novels, the highly acclaimed Leaving Maggie Hope and its sequel, The Three Great Secret Things. Nancy Fairley is a retired Anthropology professor (Davidson University). Dr. Fairleys research interests include social anthropology, religion, Africa, and African Americans. Since 1996 she directed Davidsons summer academic program in the West African nation of Ghana.
