Charlotte has a real, remarkable story. We got a call about a dog needing a home that was being trained to fight, but the story didnt stop there. See.. Charlotte is deaf and was in need of not just a safe home, but a real calm home. A few volunteers went to pick her up and we find out that the lady that had saved her was amazing. This woman saw the dog being beat in the backyard next door. She offered $50 out of her pocket to take the dog and she contacted us to put her in our rescue. What you dont know is that this woman has no heat. She feeds her dogs before herself. And that $50? That is all she had to her name. We were moved to tears. Some of our volunteers raised enough money to have her heat turned back on and then some. So thank you to the woman whom saved Charlotte. She is now in a foster home feeling safe as can be because of one womans selfless act.
