Chase Update: Day 97 Wed. Sept. 24th 8:45pm Day 5 at home Chases surgery has been postponed until the end of October. The neurosurgeon called today and said it wasnt worth the risk that his clots could dislodge. Chase is schedule for another ultrasound on his arms is 3 weeks. If they are gone by the. We will go ahead with surgery. I tried To give chase a day to just relax and it backfired. He was extremely emotional today. He misses his friends, he misses school, and he just wants to be normal again. I am going to contact the school this week. If he isnt getting surgery until almost November, he needs to be doing some schooling at home. I learned the hard way today that doing nothing is far worse for him, so we will be keeping busy with rest periods. Please pray that I will be inspired over the next few weeks to direct his day appropriately. Ask The Lord to comfort him and lift his spirits. Please pray also that everything will fall into place with his schooling, therapies, and surgeries so I can just let it all go from my mind. I will one day learn to let go and let God. Im a work in progress. We pray The Lord will be mindful of you and your needs, and that he will bless you and keep you. You are loved. We are legion!
