Chasing Telesia part 16 Everyone had to wait outside of the room while the surgeon assesed Logans injuries. Only his mother stayed in the room with him. Sia was still numb by the mornings events when she and Kaleb rushed back to the hospital after francine called to tell her Logan had woken up. Sia cried all the way to the hospital filled with relief that he was ok only for it to be short lived when Logan looked at her with eyes of a stranger. He didnt recognize her. Sia thought he was playing a joke but soon realised he was dead serious. When he stared at Francine for the answer to who I was. Francine-Logan you dont know who Sia is? Logan-No Ive never seen her before. It was the first time Telesia had ever seen Kaleb go ballistic. Nearly assaulting the doctor in the hallway. Kaleb-is this some sort of a sick joke? Doctor-Calm down son. His MRI shows no damage. He seems to have temporarily lost his short term memory but all the scans shows its all clear. He may be refusing to remember. Kaleb-what the hell does that mean? Doctor-there is nothing wrong that we can see. The patient may have blocked out a traumatic memory. Kaleb-fix it! Doctor-Its something that fixes itself if he chooses to. Telesia stopped listening to anything else the doctor was saying. The possibility that Logan was intentionally blocking out any memories of them together was too much for Sia to comprehend. But what was worse was hearing his confession of Love to francine. Kaleb-hey Sia glanced up at Kaleb not hearing him approach. Kaleb-Dont let this defeat you. Hell remember you. Telesia gave a weak smile. August-But that confession tho.... Kaleb gave August a glare shutting him up. Sia looked ready to crumble. Telesia-I should go home. I think my presence here is upsetting him. August-No dont leave.... Francine-Sia I... Telesia-its alright. Hes awake. Thats all that matters. Kaleb-He will remember you sia. All she could do was nod,she grabbed her handbag and departed. August-what the hell is going on?you reckon his memory loss is permanent? Kaleb-I dont know. He kept watching the lift doors sia dissapeared behind. Francine-........... Logans mother walked out letting the others go in. Logan was sitting up in his bed with his usual goofball smile. They kickbacked like oldtimes. It was hard to imagine he suffered memory loss. Logan kept holding onto Francines hand. Logan-you know this accident has opened my eyes up. Kaleb stood up abruptly unable to act indifferent to what had happened. Kaleb-can I have a word with Logan?alone. The others left the room. Kaleb stood at the foot of the bed just staring at Logan who continued to smile at Him. Kaleb-Since when were you inlove with Francine? Logan-When I gained conciousness,it felt like the world cleared up for me. Shes my bestfriend. Kaleb-that doesnt really answer my question. So you woke up realising you love Francine. What about Telesia? Logan-I dont know her. I love Francine. Kaleb-is that right.. Kaleb stared at Logan trying to see any hidden signs. Kaleb-you never forget your true love. Logan-True. Kaleb-If Francine is truly where your heart lays and this accident has shown you that then I cant knock you out. Logan-huh?what are you on about? Kaleb-Memory loss or not. You never forget your true love. Logan-Kaleb are you inlove with someone? Kaleb looked away a little irritated. Logan lost his smile leaning foward. Logan-Are you inlove with Francine? Because I wont let you have her. Kaleb gave Logan a disgruntled look. He stared out the window when he answered. Kaleb-Francine is all yours. Logan-Good...so whos the lucky girl?how come I dont know theres a girl? Kaleb-Just someone I thought I lost my chance with. He turned back to Logan. His eyes looking a little Sad. Kaleb-Ill send the others back in. Ill stop back in tomorrow. With his hands in his pockets. Kaleb left the room.
