Center City workers, come down from work for just 15 minutes to show your support. Start a carpoo and bring a friend! Our own Dov Daniel will open the program with Hatikva and the Star Spangled Banner. Rabbi Avraham Shmidman will then lead a Mi Sheberach for the IDF soldiers, tehillim and words of chizuk. Counter-terrorism expert Yaniv Berdugo and others who served in the IDF will share their thoughts on what the soldiers are now experiencing. Deputy Sherrif and decorated US Army Staff Sergeant David Firester will be travelling 7 hours to come and support us here in Philly! He will be in uniform representing the U.S. Army in support of his brothers in Israel!. He is a decorated Staff Sergeant Aliza Green is a Philly native, and a graduate of Temple University, who is making Aliyah in August 2014, and joining the Israel Defense Forces. Aliza just returned from Israel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An anti-Israel group will be having a simultaneous protest down the block against what they call using the excuse of the deaths of three Israeli settler youth to carry out the murders of hundreds of Palestinian youth.
