Check Me Out Everyone-I walked today from my house to the dead end of my street & back which was a total of 406 feet. In addition, I walked from my house to the Bank of America, almost at the corner of my street & Fair Oaks Blvd. I did all my walking with my walker but I still did Great! I had a kick ass Physical Therapy appointment today where I did the Grapevine Step across the room without any assistance devices, while holding hands lightly with my Physical Therapist. I Rock! Im definitely a Walking Fool! Im making Leaps & Bounds forward in my recovery everyday. Ive got a Birthday coming up this Saturday & My Best Friend/Ex will be taking me out to dinner @ Joes Crab Shack in Old Sac & My Goal is to be able to walk there from either the parking lot or from being dropped off close to the front, which it now looks like I will be able to do after all. I cant wait for my First dinner out in 8 months! Happy Birthday To Me! Im able to walk now & Im walking more & more each day! Thats definitely the Best Birthday Present I could have asked for.
