Sarasvati are hosting the awesome Sharon Kihara for some workshops and a showcase this weekend, and one of Sharons workshops is open to non-bellydancers! Heres the description: The Underworld: Continuing to navigate the subtle communication of dance through the practice of Ankoku Butoh, Yoga, and Somatic Awareness. Sun 16 Nov, 11:00 – 13:00 £25 plus £1.10 Booking fee This workshop is perfect for any dancer or artist wishing for skills to help them find an authentic voice, create honest, inspired work, and deepen their comfort in their own skin. Through challenging theatrical exercises, fun games and experimentation, dancers will learn to engineer the reality that comprises the dance space.
