Check out Orphan Annie in her new home! She was rescued by Coalition of Caring in Maryland. She was 2 years old and had been chained outdoors with very little socialization since she was a puppy. Annie was brought to Faithful Friends about 3 month ago. She was placed in a foster home, but it didnt work out and she was returned. Our dog staff worked to further socialize Annie and help her feel comfortable being around people and other pets. As with every dog, we treated Annie as an individual and worked with her to make her comfortable and find ways to match her up with the right home. We thought she might do best as an only dog, but we remained openminded. As with any dog that has special needs, we are cautious but always hopeful. This approach paid off for Annie (tan dog). She is now in a loving home with her new family and is doing well with everyone - including another dog and two cats! Help support our lifesaving work.
