Check out our 1st #surgeryspotlight! We are calling this beautiful girl Muffin (A689145). Muffin has an incredibly gentle and calm demeanor. She came to us from the emergency clinic on Tuesday 9/30 with a broken right femur. Despite her sweet personality and seeming owned, no one has come looking for Muffin. This is yet another example of why collars, tags and microchips are so important. She was surgically repaired on Wednesday by Dr. Kelly Might with a plate, screws, and a pin. Muffin now needs cage rest for the next two weeks with some gentle physical therapy. After that, she can have slow leash walks a few times a day.
