Check out some of the recent work of artist Alina Gallo. Shes created water colors of a young Syrian girls dreams. She has also done some powerful miniature paintings that tell the stories of the Syrian Civil War. You can see more of her work at her website alinagallo/ Here are her words about these three water colors: From a series of water colors I am working on based on the dreams of a young Syrian girl, Sara. She is five years old and lives on one of the front-lines in Aleppo with her mom, two older sisters and one older brother. Her father is a commander in the free Syrian army. She was interviewed in the documentary Children of Aleppo for PBS in February.
