NOCH keeps saying, midwife services have been eliminated in recent years around the region following market trends indicating an increase in patients requiring obstetricians. There is no evidence anywhere that midwife services have been getting eliminated (apart from one other instance and this awful decision by NOCH). Plus, nationally midwife assisted home births are higher then theyve been in 40 years and in Kent county alone home births by midwives is up 116%. The longer this goes on the more angry I get.
