Check out the article from Delaware Online about the new outdoor rink. Theres some good press in there from WFD player Michael Stears. I think if a bunch of people contacted the Riverfront Development Corp or their local city council person and expressed their support for brining outdoor hockey to Wilmington this could happen! Imagine watching your favorite local hockey teams play here!! Im sure U of D would love to host an outdoor tournament along with all of the high school/youth travel teams. I think the WFD vs WPD Wilmington outdoor Classic has a good ring to it!!
