The deli is open Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 7 PM and Weekend from 7 AM - 4 PM. The owner and chef is Stacie Shoob-Allen. As you might expect Stacie is a transplant. She can be reached by telephone, or by E-mail at Stacie@bubbieslove. The website is bubbieslove. Stacie will do catering for events. Just ask. The deli is named after Stacies grandmother and the love she brought to the family through the wonderful kosher meals she prepared for the family when Stacie was growing up. Its Stacies way of honoring her bubbie. Stacie does it all. The deli is as if one was transported to their own bubbies kitchen. I havent found a deli anywhere in the greater Sacramento area that holds a candle to Stacies place. The menu is a virtual compendium of kosher delights! Stacie serves wonderful, old-school Jewish comfort food. The recipes are featured in dishes which have been handed down over the years from Grandmother, eventually to Stacies capable hands. Truly, each is prepared with love! The place isnt fancy. For anyone, Jew or goyim the food is authentic and reminds me of the meals I enjoyed in my travels to New York City and growing up in the West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica area. The deli is in a small strip mall located on the northeast corner of Sunrise and Antelope. Oh! And did I tell you she bakes some excellent bagels? How Stacie does all she does is a mystery to me?
