Check out the latest ASERT infographic about social skills. It highlights that individuals with autism reported wanting more social relationships in their responses to the Pennsylvania Autism Needs Assessment (2011). Interpersonal relationships impact an individuals’ quality of life including their mental and physical health. To meet this need, ASERT is conducting social skills groups for adolescents in select locations in all regions during the fall of 2014. These social skills groups are designed to give adolescents tools and supports for their social interactions, which could be useful in making friends, developing relationships, and in school and employment settings.
