Check out this Chubby McLovely! (Will be for sale) He is a 8yr 14.2hh tall (and like 17hh round haha) Persheron X Welsh with a little QH thrown in. He has come to hang out and will be looking for a home with a human that suits him. Which shouldnt be hard because look how cute he is!. Both Laura and I are 6ft tall, so photos probably dont do his width justice, or maybe the fact that we dont even look that big on him does do his width justice...everyone else is going to look tiny on him. He hadnt been ridden in quite a while but was super quiet, going out on a trail with Laura this morning then letting me have a bit of a cruise around this afternoon. The information we are told is that he was at Byalee Stud/riding school as a young horse and was sold on by Anne Maree Lowrey as a horse that had been a beginner horse. He certainly is calm and that easy going plodder nature does seem to there. SO basically again Im depressed that I dont have a riding school...again. His only down sides on his first day is (as we were told he would be) he has been stand offish on the ground, he is apparently a lot better as he gets to know you and I think he will improve with that while he is here because already he is coming around to my cuddles... The only other excitement was his one single Jaeger buck Kelly Burke or heavy horse hump as I like to now call them as he went into the canter for the first time. You know the ones I love because they will never loose anyone and really they just feel like a really collected canter and are in slow motion... you know where they try really hard but just prove that they are more marshmallow than jelly bean.
