I began crocheting at age 8 ...46 years ago! I still have the little index card that my mum wrote out for me, with instructions for crocheting a granny square - and I made a granny square ...that turned into a blanket (yes in green, vanilla and brown - perfect 1968 colours :D), which still sits on the side arm of my couch. I love creating things with my hands - knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking - and I find wonderful serenity in the process, the planning and the hunt for great yarns and patterns!
