Check out this riveting and moving poem by one of our talented friends, Saba Maher. She wrote this a few years ago in memory of Nadia Anjuman, who was a poet in Afghanistan and a victim of domestic violence. Saba performed this piece impromptu at the Muslim Writers Collective back in August. The title of the Poem is Baagh-e Shahidan Ast Baagh-e Gul-e Khandan (The Garden of Martyrs Is The Garden of Laughing Flowers) Enjoy.
