Check out video recap of The South East Texas Damage Prevention Council’s Safety Day. This one-day event was held November 6th at the Pasadena Municipal Fair Grounds and featured keynote speaker Cliff Meidl. Roughly 200 people were in attendance for this first annual Safety Day. The Lone Star 811 booth was decked out in green with the spotlight on the 811 Bike. Joshua Rungee, Lone Star 811’s Damage Prevention Coordinator, is the chair of the SETXDPC and was busy coordinating the event along with many others. The day ended with hands-on demonstrations, which included on-site locate requests, an on-site lane closure demo and a vacuum excavation demo.
